In support to President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s thrust to
lessen the impact of the rising cost of imported wheat flour which is affecting
Filipinos of all walks of life, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
thru its Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) came up with a nationwide
campaign to look for bakery operators/owners who will adopt bakery products
supplemented with local raw materials.
